Hey all,
Keep hearing that Telecom is unlikely to reach their 83k wholesale target. Their figures show just how greatly off the mark they are. With 47k, even if they double their previous quarters growth rate for wholesale they won't make it. I don't really know what's happening with regards to the JPP issue and I guess there would have been a fair number of customers who switched from JPP to either UBS or their new wholesale after September but I suspect that probably won't be enough. And IIRC, the CC have said they have to look into the new wholesale regime so it may not even count.

However, it appears Telecom is trying to change their goal now and claim they have made it. I'm sure Telecom will say they aren't changing the goal but the fact it, everyone has been saying the goal is 83k or 1/3 of the 250k total and Telecom has never tried to 'correct' them until now (AFAIK). I don't see how Telecom will be able to convince the government or the CC but who knows?

We'll just have to wait and see how it pans out.
